The Irish appreciate the good things in life— friends, food, music and drink. These are at the heart of Ireland’s cultural tradition. The Limerick Pub brings a little bit of Ireland to the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland. In addition to its painted mural on its wall, the Pub offers regular live Irish music and literary evenings. Drawing on Ireland’s rich tradition of story-telling, local Irish-American author, D.P. “Danny” Costello (The Rag Tree: A Novel of Ireland), hosts readings by other local authors and poets. Weekly trivia night provides entertainment to regulars during the week.
