WAP YARNBOMB MARCH WORKSHOP

March 26th 2022 located at WAP Gallery. 2-4 pm

Free Crochet workshop:
Beginners will learn basic geometrical shapes.
Advanced knitter will create flowers like cherry blossoms.
New participants will learn about the collective public temporary Yarn Bomb decoration from last 3 years: location of the decorations, assembled, installed, take down, September festival and how the floats were created, etc.

Participants can bring: acrylic yarn, any pink shapes and white. Hooks.
Some materials will be provided for the 2022 project decorations to volunteer team Yarn Bomb members: rectangular shapes of 32”x12” and cherry blossoms style flowers.
There will be available hooks also.

New participants can take home their workshop's product. (we will not give hooks to any new participant to take home.)

There will be a WAP YARNBOMB DONATION BOX at the gallery for both Yarn donations and finished crocheted projects by volunteer participants.

Los principiantes aprenderán a tejer formas básicas geométricas y los avanzados podrán tejer diseños de capullos de cerezos.

Los nuevos participantes serán informados del proyecto público temporario Yarn Bomb de los últimos 3 años: lugares de las decoraciones en postes de luz y barandas. Ensamblajes de las decoraciones; Instalación y como se removieron; festival de fines de septiembre, carruajes decorados, etc.

Los participantes pueden traer lana acrílica de distintos tonos rosados y blanco. Agujas de crochet.
Algunos materiales serán proveídos a los miembros voluntarios del equipo Yarn Bomb 2022: rectángulos de 32’’x 12’’ y capullos de cerezos en flor. Habrá agujas disponibles.

Los nuevos participantes podrán llevarse sus trabajos. (No se repartirán agujas a los nuevos participantes)

Nuevos participantes y voluntarios de equipo podrán dejar sus donaciones de crochet en la caja de “Donaciones” en la Gallery Wheaton Arts Parade.
