InterAct Story Theatre presents FREE performances and events for kids and families with the Wheaton Family Theatre Series!
Baba Bomani, founder of the Frederick Douglass Writing Club, a literacy and history club for students, joins InterAct Story Theatre with a kid-friendly performance that explains the reading, writing, and arithmetic of Hip-Hop performance. From learning to recognize syllabic sounds, to understanding the rhythm patterns that turn those syllables into raps over a beat, students will be engulfed in dance and song through this highly interactive program. Best for ages 4 and up.
There will be two performances at Highland Elementary School, 3100 Medway Street, Wheaton, MD 20902: Saturday, March 11 at 11 a.m. and Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m. FREE and open to the public! No tickets or registration needed.
Masks are optional but recommended for everyone age 3 and older.
For safety reasons our schedule is subject to change due to ongoing Covid-19 health and safety needs. Please see our website for the latest information. www.interactstory.com/wheaton
