Details

A batizado is a special annual martial-arts graduation ceremony. This year, there will be over 30 kids and 20 adults that will get promoted to the next level, and will receive a special corded belt. This graduation also showcases the benefits of health, culture, teamwork and community.

The Celebration will include the following:

· Dance & Performance by the percussion group, “Rompe Cajon” (Peruvian dance and music) featuring the renowned musician “Percy Chinchilla” from Perú

· Brazilian Samba dance demonstration

· Capoeira dance, demonstration and workshops for kids and adults

· Batizado (Capoeira ceremony in which students are awarded the new belt)
