Wheaton Arts Parade is giving Montgomery County high school and college students a chance to win $300 for their original design for the 6th Annual Wheaton Arts Parade & Festival. The poster should celebrate art and Wheaton's diverse cultures and communicate the fun-filled spirit of a parade and art festival. Past posters can be viewed in the website archive. But don't let your imagination be limited by the past. Give us your fresh ideas for 2022.

The winning student will have an opportunity to work with a professional graphic design artist to turn their design into the image that will be used for WAP22 promotional materials, including our poster, t-shirt, and program. Thanks to our sponsors, Los Chorros Restaurant & IHOP Wheaton, the winner will receive a cash prize of $300. In addition, the winning student's school will receive $100 for art supplies.

The winning design will be integrated into the poster template shown below. Please submit digital entries only. Entries should be 8.5” x 11” in size and saved as a 300 dpi to-size JPEG, PNG or vector PDF format. Please use no more than 5 colors, including black and white.
