World Water Day on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11am to 3pm at the Wheaton Regional Park.
World Water Day is an opportunity to share information about how to protect our local waters - Rivers and streams because at the end of the day that is where we get our drinking water from.
In addition, taking the opportunity to share with the community local resources and county related programs.
Working with several partners including Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection, Montgomery Parks, Impact Silver Spring, Latino Health Initiative, Maryland Department of Natural Resources and others, to provide a fun filled day to include a piñata exhibit, fishing for kids under 16 years, nature walks, and lots of information from community organizations.
